As President of Canadian Sales Resources, John Trus is dedicated to ensuring our clients grow sustainably and reach their full potential in the Canadian market. John brings more than 20 years of Sales and Sales Management experience to large and small software and solutions companies.

John has delivered exceptional sales results in both management and individual contributor roles for a number of American and Canadian companies. He has closed business with the largest companies in North America, across all major market sectors.

He has built sales regions by first creating sales success, then growing efficient teams to continue the achievement. Success has been achieved selling directly, working with partners and selling through ISVs.

Prior to founding Canadian Sales Resources, John was North American Sales Director for Open Network Technologies. Previously John was North American Sales Director for the Blaze product line at HNC Software (now Fair Isaac Corporation) where he spent seven years with its precursor companies delivering outstanding results. He has also held lead sales positions at Sterling Software (now Computer Associates) in their Applications Development Division, as well as with several Canadian application software companies.
